Please observe the following to obtain a certified copy of death certificate: -Send a written request with the names of the decedent -Date of Death -Place of Death -Sign the request -We do not mail certified copies of records to Post Office Boxes -Certified copies are $10.00 each
Death records are available if: -The Death occurred in Greenfield -The decedent died in another Massachusetts community and listed Greenfield as their residence at the time of death. -The decedent was a U.S. Veteran who died in another Massachusetts city or town and was buried in Greenfield.
